Besides being a musician, I'm also an avid gamer. Here's some info on the latest games I'm currently playing.

Top 10 Games of 2010

Written on December 4th, 2010.

1. Red Dead Redemption (Xbox 360/PS3) - How can you go wrong with a Western-themed GTA with an MMORPG-like online career mode? Not to mention online cooperative play and competitive matches. Best Game of 2010 in my opinion.

2. Fallout: New Vegas (PC/Xbox 360/PS3) - Any single-player game that can easily give you over 80+ hours of gameplay without experiencing everything in the game is awesome these days when most games are lucky to give you a 10 hour single player campaign. Future downloadable content plus a level editor (G.E.C.K.) for PC-only and you have a recipe for success. Best PC Game of 2010 in my opinion.

3. Final Fantasy XIII (PS3/Xbox 360) - Another great single player RPG but I don't think it's as fun and as accessible as Fallout: New Vegas is. Still it's a must play for any Final Fantasy fan and worth checking out for those new to the series.

4. Heavy Rain (PS3) - Definitely the Most Innovative/Original Game of 2010. Heavy Rain is one of the best mystery games out there today and the multiple endings make it worth playing several times through and a great reason to get a PS3.

5. Dead Rising 2 (Xbox 360/PS3/PC) - Best Zombie Killing Game of 2010. Great single-player experience with the most original ways to kill zombies plus co-op and competitive multiplayer make this a must play for any zombie game fan.

6. Halo Reach (Xbox 360) - Best FPS Game of 2010, a great close to Bungie's work on the Halo franchise, and the last Halo game I will buy. People need to only support the original developers on franchises and stop buying shovel-ware like Call of Duty and Battlefield (not to mention Madden) because those games lack any innovation and no longer have a single-player campaigns worth playing. Halo Reach includes a great single-player experience, plus co-op, great multiplayer, and custom games/maps via Forge. Buy it to support Bungie and make sure you don't buy the next Halo shovel-ware installment from Microsoft.

7. Just Cause 2 (PS3/Xbox 360/PC) - Best Sandbox Game of 2010. Plenty to do and fun destructible game-play make this a must buy.

8. Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360/PC) - Great second title of the series and a must play for any science fiction or RPG fan.

9. Gran Turismo 5 (PS3) - Best Racing Game of 2010. This was a toss up but Gran Turismo 5 has a lot more depth and variety than ModNation Racers did but both are worth checking out.

10. MAG (PS3) - Best Multiplayer Shooter of 2010. 256 player battles and little to no lag??? Yes it's possible and worth checking out for all you online FPS fans.
